Facilities Maintenance Services Expanding: Divisions Maintenance Group opens four new offices in 2012

October 24, 2012 - Newport, Ky. – Divisions Maintenance Group, a provider of facilities maintenance services, has experienced substantial growth in 2012 with the opening of four new offices: (Chicago, Ill; Las Vegas, Nev; Detroit, Mich; and Nashville, Tenn.)
Headquartered in Newport, KY, Divisions provides facilities maintenance services nationwide, including snow removal, landscaping, parking lot maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and general construction. Divisions’ expansion is both in response to and in anticipation of the growing needs of their customer base of retailers and property management companies.
Each new office will ensure that Divisions can provide on-site supervision for each customer, a key factor in the success of Divisions’ business model. The ability to provide on-site supervision was one of the key factors in determining the new locations. According to Ed Crotty, Divisions SVP of Sales, “While the density of existing and potential customers in a market is a big factor, we put even more emphasis on making sure we’re able to be on site the way we promise- We open new offices to make sure we’re providing uninterrupted peace of mind, period.”
With the development of a ground breaking technology system in facilities maintenance that combines mobile technology in the field with an online portal for customers, Divisions is able to provide customers with real-time visibility onto their properties, a real benefit to corporate facilities management teams that are geographically distant to their retail properties.
With consistent year over year growth, Divisions has also continued to increase its back office workforce to support this continued expansion. Human Resources, IT, Accounting, and Customer Service have all been strengthened, and Divisions now boasts 73 employees at its headquarters.
